Ducktify: Duck Spotify volume by Chrome sound
Ducktify is a free Chrome add-on developed by yktakaha4. It allows users to automatically adjust the volume of Spotify when sound is playing in Google Chrome. This eliminates the need to manually change the volume when unexpected video conferences start during remote work.
With Ducktify, users can login to their Spotify account by clicking the Login button. When sound is detected in a tab that matches the specified URL patterns, the volume of the active Spotify device will be ducked to the Duck Volume setting. Once the sound in the tab stops, the volume of the Spotify device will return to the Base Volume setting after the specified Sustain time.
Users have the option to choose between Soft, Medium, or Hard for the volume transition. Additionally, there is a Bypass setting that can be enabled to prevent Spotify volume changes.
Overall, Ducktify provides a convenient solution for automatically adjusting Spotify volume while using Google Chrome, making it easier to manage sound during remote work or other activities.
